About the Artist Debra Capetz
“ I have always loved taking pictures of my surroundings. Whether it’s along the coast, in the mountains or in the desert, I try to capture the beauty all around me. I am inspired by nature, and am in awe of the ever-changing natural light of the day.
From flowers to landscapes to coastal scenes, each day brings a new opportunity to photograph and capture a moment in time. That is what I hope to bring to you.
My love of both photography and traveling have taken me to many places. I was born and raised in San Francisco, but spent a decade living in Maine, where I experienced the beauty of the seasons firsthand. My travels throughout the United States, Central America, Asia and Africa have allowed me to see the world culturally, as well as through the lens.
I currently reside in North San Diego County with my family. ”
